Prohibition was introduced as a fraud; it has been nursed as a fraud. It is wrapped in the livery of Heaven, but it comes to serve the devil. It comes to regulate by law our appetites and our daily lives. It comes to tear down liberty and build up fanaticism, hypocrisy, and intolerance. It comes to confiscate by legislative decree the property of many of our fellow citizens. It comes to send spies, detectives, and informers into our homes; to have us arrested and carried before courts and condemned to fines and imprisonments. It comes to dissipate the sunlight of happiness, peace, and prosperity in which we are now living and to fill our land with alienations, estrangements, and bitterness. It comes to bring us evil --only evil-- and that continually. Let us rise in our might as one and overwhelm it with such indignation that we shall never hear of it again as long as grass grows and water runs.
People often write asking how they can help as a volunteer. The HEMP Embassy runs an information centre/ paraphernalia shop in Nimbin all year round to fund our fight against cannabis laws. This is staffed by rostered volunteers who live locally, or are on an extended visit. If you do not live close enough, there is still an opening. Every year, on the first weekend in May, we have the Nimbin MardiGrass Drug Law Reform Rally. To do this takes lots of volunteers who live locally OR are attending the MardiGrass. We have volunteers from all over the world who come to help make MardiGrass possible, not just stand and watch. It is fantastic to see. Feel free to come and joint in. If you ever come to Australia, drop in to the HEMP Embassy in Nimbin. Try to make it coincide with MardiGrass, if u can....otherwise, come anyway, or oppose stupid laws wherever you are, and you will be helping us all... Boom Times Predicted For Rural NSW Zero Tolerance of Pain and Suffering
Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd has sent a new submission to NSW Health for a License authorising it to possess Cannabis for the purposes of research, instruction, analysis and study pursuant to the Drugs Misuse Act 1985 (NSW). Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd requires authorisation to continue to evaluate its first traditional medicine, Mullaways Tincture of Cannabis (MULLAWAYS TINCTURE) for its quality, safety and efficacy pursuant to provisions of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth) (Therapeutic Goods Act). Testing of MULLAWAYS TINCTURE has now been completed by both NSW Health and NSW Police and No Prohibited Substances were detected. Tony Bower the Director of Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd said “What you will see now is Boom Times for rural NSW as the means of production are returned to farmers. The Export Market for Medical Cannabis products is huge. The legal non-psychotropic MULLAWAYS Tincture will be able to be sold throughout the world.” Mullaways have again contacted representatives from WILEY & CO PTY LTD concerning the construction of the manufacturing plant. We went to Wiley’s originally because they are a company known for getting operations, like our 1mt/week Cannabis Processing Plant to be built in Kempsey, past TGA first time every time. Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd has also been in contact with a company which specialises in exporting these types of products. Research from surveys of people using the MULLAWAYS Tincture, with their Doctors supervision, showed a reduction in the use of other medications while using the MULLAWAYS Tincture. For NSW Health this means a reduction in costs to the Health Budget. I say to the O’Farrell Government “Selling off the run down Power Poles and Wires of NSW will not fix this State’s problems”. The NSW Government doesn’t create any of the wealth of this State. It is the companies/workers of NSW which create this wealth. It is the taxes of companies and workers which produce the wealth/debt governments get to distribute or withhold. This legal non-psychotropic Cannabis Tincture will create a whole new industry in NSW. Tony Bower from Mullaways Medical Cannabis will be appearing in Kempsey Court once again this coming Monday 8th October and once again a gathering of his supporters will be in attendance. A date is expected to be set for the hearing on the raid which took his entire medicinal crop just as it was ready to be harvested earlier this year.

The NSW Police have hit a new low by descending in an expensive tax-payer-funded operation with a police chopper and confiscating the medical cannabis crop needed to make Mullaways Medical Cannabis Tincture. The medical cannabis crop was a strain of cannabis specifically bred by Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd to be extracted into a medical tincture. Each medical cannabis plant was labelled for specific patients. Through the confiscation of this medical cannabis crop, the NSW Police have deprived many Australians their medicine. It is a form of discrimination against sufferers of chronic illness and pain whom need this medicine – Medical Cannabis.
300 plus chronically ill and dying patients will now be deprived of this indispensible medicine used for the relief of pain and suffering
Many of the patients have been using Mullaways Medical Cannabis Tincture for years and have letters of support from their doctors to use the tincture. Mullaways is the only company in Australia providing medical cannabis. The only other avenue for patients to access medical cannabis is through the Commonwealth Governments Special Access Scheme. This is a long and expensive process as this product is required to be imported from an overseas medical cannabis company and many patients are unable to afford it as it is unavailable on the PBS.

A Super breed of medicinal cannabis developed by Mullaways Medical Cannabis in Australia, called the Cleverman is currently before IP Australia who administer Plant Breeders Rights.
MMC an Australian Medical Cannabis Company has developed a breed of cannabis-based products aimed at treating a range of conditions including diabetes, terminal illnesses and Crohns disease.
MMC has, over a period of thirty years, developed a cannabis-derived medicine for the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. MMC has cross-bred different types of the plant to produce a new strain that could treat a wide range of disorders.
This variety contains enhanced levels of therapeutic compounds, including an appetite suppressant cannabinoid called THCV, which the company hopes will be used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, obesity and other metabolic disorders.
MMC varieties of Cannabis do not produce CBD. Research shows that the body converts THCV, A to CBD when needed.
Research Leader and Director Anthony David Bower said, We have demonstrated that there are something like 60 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, and to date we have looked in detail only at 12 to 15. You could say we have only scratched the surface so far. Australia currently imports all the THC products or Cannabis for research, this needs to change.
Human trials are already underway to treat inflammatory diseases and the terminally ill.
